((heads up I have a hurt finger - i will explain later- yet that is the reason I am making short sentences, and not very eloquent words for its hard to type without this finger haha))
March 29th
Since I am only writing, given that I am so behind, main events this day had none to mention.
March 30th
On this day I had a Geography exam - and some of it I actually understood :P The test was about relationships all over the world and part of the test was a pop question about the relation between United States, and Mexico. More specifically the border problems and how one should deal with it all. I WAS IN HEAVEN MUMMY!!! Yes, yes do not roll your eyes - I know you are- I was nice and I eloquently stated what I thought and why I thought that. Anyway bottom line is I felt fantastic. :D
When I got home though Kratip and I set up camp and I started packing for Italy. I would be leaving with my suitcase in the morning to Zurich and then spend all day there until I would meet daddy at night for the Train bound to Rome.
March 31st
LET ME BEGIN BY SAYING IT IS NOT MY FAULT, I DID NOT DO IT, AND YOU HAVE NO PROOF THAT IT WAS ME INVOLVED... ha-haha. Got your attention didn't it? Well here is the scoop.
We get to Zurich HB ((the main part of Zurich)) and explore the train station for a luggage storage unit. When we finally found one we had to look for the different sizes...boy it was bad for I had one large suitcase and one small one. Now yes I would be only gone 5 days why was I needing so much? Well the thing is the large suitcase my daddy would be taking with him - I bribed him into taking it with him back to the states hehe. See I knew there was no way I could fit my current amount of clothing into two suitcases when it got time to leave again. So instead all of my winterclothes I sent flying back with my father...Anyway, back to the story X-D. So we get there and we are looking around, when we finally see the storage system. I finally find two L-sized storage spaces and begin putting my stuff in there. YET, as soon as I do we notice that none of us have change. We see a change converter and as soon as we get there 'lo and behold it dosent take anything bigger than 10 francs. I only had 100 dollar bill francs and I was gettign annoyed for I would need 20 francs to put in change for the container. We see a restaurant and being that I am pleading tourist I didnt see the sign that said NO CHANGE. I asked the lady if I could change the 100 dollar bill to tens and she refused before walking away rudely. I came back to where Kratip and Sandra sat and told them what happened. We all started saying "Zurichianis are mean..." I still dont understand the difference, you ARE NOT loosing money by just giving me smaller bills...anyway Sandra took my money and went to buy something from the lady - which we later ate and was disgusted by it. Anyway, after being taken care of everything we decided we would go eat first. So Sandra took us to the cheapest part of town - 20 min walk hahah so by the time we got there we were famished. We saw Kebabs - cheapest sort of fast food here in Switzerland- and ate it like like animals gulping and heaving it down as if we were never to return to civilization again.
The rest of the day was spent shopping until Kratip had to leave around 3 pm. Then Sandra and I went prancing to starbucks where we sat for 2 hours haha. It was really funny for Sandra and I always tease the other that we are "Lazy americans, all we do is sit at starbucks". WEll in my defense it was raining, and some of Sandra and my friends showed up so it was like a party while drinking coffee. X-D Although I drank water >.> My dad soon called and we went walking back towards the station...and as soon as I saw my daddy the Italy tale begins... :D
