November 30th

Ok Monday, so well after an eventful weekend I went to school and did Physics test first thing in the morning. This time the teacher did something interesting that he had never done for me before. He gave me the test in English and German. Now most of you are probably going – aww that’s so sweet of him to do that for you. - Yet you would be sadly mistaken for it SUCKS. I barely understood the notes in German now I mentally had to try and remember it so I could understand in English…needless to say I failed that test. The rest of the day passed ok other than we had a Sports test – which were made up of two parts one that you would have to be able to do all the course in UNI hockey and two that you would be able to do a running handstand after jumping in the air.

Needless to say again the UNI hockey I failed miserably in for it was just not my thing I guess. Yet the running before jumping and doing a handstand exam I actually did quite well in….Even after the exam I tried to do another one but I fell down and produced a bruise. J ¨

Tuesday, 1^st of December

On Tuesday started out as a little strange I had awoken with a pain in my stomach and slightly dizzy. Shaking it off however I headed for school and Interlaken. Yet halfway through the lesson I started feeling really bad and then on the train to my city so I could change and take it to my other school I had fallen asleep and was apparently shivering according to my friends. When I got off the train, trying to be brave my friends stood in front of me like a barrier between myself and the train to Gstaad. They shook their head and said “No Kim go home and sleep” After a few minutes of arguing however I was forced to accept that no way was I fit to go to the rest of my lessons and instead made my 5 min journey to my house next to the cemetery. I don’t think I have ever said that yes the house I’m living in with my host family is next to a cemetery and a big church. J As soon as I walked the bated pavement though my host father came out and asked me what was wrong. After explaining to him and my host mother about what I was feeling I was sent to bed with a liter of tea – Camellia-

I slept the rest of the night and afternoon.

Wednesday 2^nd – Saturday 5^th of December,

I was ill for all of these days. Barely eating, sleeping the whole day away and not feeling terribly like myself. Yet I recovered promise haha

Sunday 6^th of December

Feeling much better and needing to get out of the house my host parents, myself and Kratip – exchange student from Thailand- we decided to take the train to Montreux. Where we were on the train 2 hours and in VIP longue area – had to pay though 33 francs- but the view was amazing. It was well worth it…unfortunately we couldn’t have picked a worse day for it was raining and although the city Is gorgeous and a Christmas Festival was going on. It still reeked as it dampened Kratip’s and my mood. So instead we went into a Japanese restaurant for about two hours and just sat there talking. On the way home we both fell asleep dreaming of yum yums and dumplings XD
