Ok Sorry for this REALLY late posting session. :) The thing is ...well why ruin a surprise? If you read then you will find out what had happened during these last few weeks :). So lets hop aboard the train and get to cracking hehe...
Ok the 22nd Was a Sunday but other than hanging around the house and doing a little bit of cleaning nothing extraordinary happened on this day. The reason was because Wilma, Holger, and Swanna were coming home from their trip. I was left to dance around in some shorts, a blouse and socks all morning long pretending I was Tom Cruise from "Risky Business". Yes yes, you can laugh but have you ever tried to fly across wooden floors and not fall before? Or have you ever not had the desire to rock to some cheesy music and put on sunglasses while thinking to yourself - "Damn I look like Queen of the Nile". Hehe
23rd through the 26th I didnt do much other than school work and studying. Although on the evening of the 26th - being that it was Thanksgiving and all I was a little down. My host mother knew I was slightly crestfallen and wanted to cheer me up. So being that she is as sneacky as a python in that python movie - or was it anacondas? - she devised a plan with my host brother - Bodo- and host sister - Swanna. While I was upstairs doing some homework - and of course Yahooing with anyone online since it is my favorite thing to do - my host mom came up. She asked me in german, duh, how I was doing... "Wie gehts es dir?" I, while shrugging, merely replied that homework was kicking my....well lets just say anatomy. ;) She stood still for a moment - which got me a little confused and all of the sudden Bodo - wearing a white beard and santa claus outfit, and Swanna - wearing a black beard and black santa clause outfit appeared at the door. I was shocked for a full 30 seconds simply blinking at the two of them as if I had lost my mind. Then , dont pretend none of you wouldn't do it, I spazzed out and fell out of the chair laughing hysterically. Bodo handed me a present - chocolates ;) - with a cookie cutter shaped as the statue of liberty. I was just so surprised and happy I took it still laughing and hugged them all. Bodo and Swanna wouldnt stop laughing though since I fell out of my chair mind you - which after the 46th time of telling me got quite annoying. Yet I cant believe how lucky I am. They are so nice to do this and I cant tell you how much I love the lot of them. They are bloody wicked to quote my favorite harry potter line. :)
The 27th I stayed home and thought about New Moon - yes Im a DIE HARD vampire fan...He can bite me anytime he wants ;) hahahaha. And the 28th I simply did laundry after my german class - yes yes lame but I have to once a month go up to Bern again for 3 hours of hard grammar and spelling in german.
The 29th although was pretty special , why you may wonder was this pretty special? Well because its the first of Advent. So being that my host father is a Pastor he had service at 8 o 'clock in the church - evening service. It was actually pretty amazing for everything was in the dark but over 30 candles were lit for us to see and read while we would sing. IT was quite moving. After that the entire family - minus Bodo- sat around eating dinner - pizza ;) - and talked for 4 hours. By midnight though I was exausted and just told them I had to go to bed. They understood and smiled waving me off haha.
