Hello to KimLand where the fun never stops…
Now that I have your attention I would like to point out a few simple rules one must abide by while in KimLand.
1.) You are not allowed to spit, hit, throw or even smash a banana onto the computer for this causes damage to a precious artifact.
2.) While on this ride we ask you do not parade around in your “flammable” attire incase of a meteor coming to earth and happening to crash into wherever you are sitting.
3.) Lastly we ask that all consummation of food or drink is done after reading this blog for it could eventually make you spit, choke, or other unpleasant things while reading.
WE hope you enjoy your day at Kimland and don’t forget to buy yourself a KimLand souvenir at KimLand Bank of Fun. Have a nice day…
Ha-ha, ok now that we all had a little laugh its time for the real blog.
Yet again first I must stop you and comment about my classes as well as the students and angels I meet everyday. I realized only a moment ago in all of my blogs I haven’t spoken about my friends and that is quite a shame. Lets see let me first start with again the list of classes I have – English, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, German, Geography 1, Geography2, Sports, Music, and Biology. Now, the list of my wonderful and amazing angels and kings of the classroom and school ha-ha so lets get started.
Anyway let’s start with the angels – girls- in my class. They are all great people, so caring, patient and funny. I promise without them I wouldn’t even like to go to school. So we have Roxanna, Rahel (and no I’m not forgetting the C in –Rachel – or something this is her true name. Without a C, I know I know I was shocked too.), Lisa, Valerie, Nadine, Sabrina, Angela, Salome (whom I always think of as salami ha-ha), and Tabea – whom just returned from Madrid as an exchange program as well. These girls are all unique and special in their own way.
Roxanna is a very patient, sweet and very smiley meaning she always giggles at something. She also shares my hatred with Mathematics and Physics. She is a true friend ;-) she also is the best in French. She loves doggies and has a horse. Roxanna protects me from the evil doings of the boys and is often helping me with words or what to do in the class. :-D
The next is Rahel whom is so intelligent she puts us all to shame. You name it and she understands it yet her passion and what she is best in is Science and Math. She also has a very “cute” thing, in my opinion, that she does everyday she brushes her teeth after lunch. Normally kids just eat gum or something but not my Rahel. Rahel is my partner in Science and I give thanks for without her I would probably be failing biology.
Coming next in my count down is Lisa; she is your typical Swiss girl in my opinion. She has short blonde hair – although she just recently died it red and I think it kind of looks purplish but still cute. She is very athletic and she could probably climb a mountain without a problem ha-ha. She was the first friend of mine she had found out I was coming soon and called my host family and me before I even had seen the school. She is so compassionate. Another cool thing about her is she is LIKE A PROFFESSIONAL in Violin.
Valerie is another one of my beasties. :P hehe she is so cute and sometimes shy, of all of them she isn’t the strongest in English yet what she is the most inviting person I have ever had the pleasure to meet. She also helps me learn new words in German everyday. She is all smiles and always is up for a challenge. Whether that be chasing one of the boys or doing volleyball she does it all.
Nadine is the next in line and Nadine is an interesting case. I didn’t really know her during the first semester. She was sometimes my partner in aqua fit but other than that we never really talked. The reason is she was in “prima” and I am in secunda. Yet after the first semester something happened and she had to change into Secunda. So now not only is she in my class, she is my desk mate. Ha-ha. Meaning we share a desk. Anyway, she is nice and very athletic as well, she is sort of like a tannish Swiss truthfully I would peg her more an Italian than Swiss but who knows :D.
Sabrina is your typical Swiss girl on the outside –blonde and pretty- yet she is a WOW girl on the inside. I never knew Sabrina could do gymnastics before but one day during class she was like doing stuff and I sat back blinking wishing I was that good. She as well has a lovely voice in singing and often helps me translate to the music –ugh- teacher.
Angela, is one in a million on the unique scale. She I’m not sure if is a Goth or only dresses like a gothic person. Meaning, to those whom aren’t up to the “in” lingo that she dresses usually in spikes and all black –that’s my Angie hehe. Angela is super pretty and fantastic in everything she puts her mind to, she is articulate and funny not to mention a true “live in the party” kind of girl. If she wasn’t living here I would think a girl like her would be moving soon to somewhere like LA or NYC.
Salome is the kind of girl who just has a rocking everything. Rocking mind, body-supermodel thin- and rocking curly hair, she also is a wonderful singer, volleyball player and likes to rock to her own beat. She is one of a kind for sure and a very nice girl whom always has time to help me –no matter how dumb sometimes my questions may be.
Tabea, I’ve only known for a short time. The reason is until recently she was in Madrid in an exchange program. Taby is very sporty and boy can she do just about any sport. I’m not quite sure why but it always seems that every Swiss girl can do sports like they are professionals.
Anyway who else would you like to know?? Ohm yeah the kings. :P and of course something’s about Kratip I may not have mentioned before.
Well the Jester is Nicholas who is like the Jester of being a funny pain in the arse. (Excuse the language but most of the time he is. ) He taught me a word and said it meant “animal” when I repeated it to my friends they were shocked and kicked Nicolas butt. For he had made me say….dogs waste but in a very bad way.
The Next King is King Timi. Now King Timi is actually quite a nice guy when he isn’t being the class clown. He has helped me many times in German and always feels it’s his duty to remind me to use German and how to say something correctly. Yet when it comes down to it he actually is quite a nice guy. Just like Nicolas he is blonde and tall typical Swiss boy.
King Romeo is next in line for the throne hehe. Romeo is if you can imagine an extremely tall thin boy with brown hair and tan skin. He isn your typical boy and we usually refer him to a “bad boy Swiss”. Yet Romeo is always willing to make a joke or help out as long as you aren’t the person of the day he and the rest of the kings decide to pick on.
King Yves (and yes that’s how it is spelled although he usually jokes about being an IF hahaha for that’s how you would pronounce his name “If”) is the one whom I want to talk about next. Out of all of the Kings he is the nicest and never has he once done an evil thing or mean thing towards me. Instead he is always willing to help me and out of all of the Kings he is the best one in English since he spent a summer in the USA. He also everyday practices his guitar and is getting quite good at it. I wouldn’t be surprised if next time I hear from YVES hes going to be YVES and the rockets :-D ha-ha-ha
King Marc comes up to take his spot ha-ha Marc is the very kind, nice and sweet. He is just one of those really white horse help the damsel in distress kind of boys. I really have a lovely time with him and he was teaching me a few notes on the piano. The one thing that is special about Marc is that I always ask for his hole puncher and he ALWAYS gives it to me ha-ha.
Lastly King Oliver, he is the sport king. He does every single thing possible in sports although recently –only a few days ago- during our hell torture of volleyball. He was injured. How? Well stupid volleyball needs you to run to catch the ball. As he ran he tripped and twisted/pulled his ankle resulting in him going flying. Two of my friends – Pasta and Pepperoni (remember those are their nicknames) had to carry him out. In my next blog entry I shall tell you guys all about the Prima boys and Tertia boys. Anyway not the point!!! Hahaha
February 23rd 2010
On this Tuesday I did nothing really strange and out of the ordinary. I woke up went to Interlaken and had one of my favorite subjects. Geography now let me try to explain to you why I love this class so much. The teacher is a nice jolly old fellow whose interest is in making Geography more up to date by using slang words or trying to act like the young people do in today’s society. Now on this particular day we discussed about the controversy with Mexico and USA borders. Yes Nana if you are reading this know that I kept my cool and didn’t get heated. I want to share though some of the things I said to the class in German. Some of my experiences as a half Mexican and half American child. One of the predominant ones that has stuck with me for years is one of my first years back in USA in a school for the first time that’s public. What happened was this girl stopped me on the bus and made my life a living hell, tripping me stuff like that. When I finally confronted her she said I should “go back to your land you bitch you aint wanted here you hoe.” Now for those who know me you know my English is usually quite good as well as I would never offend someone and ever cross the line of arrogance and ignorance and demand someone go back to their country. When I rose my voice up – you know me and my temper it makes my jaw loosen up ;-) : I told her flatly to get used to me living here because I wasn’t going anywhere and she could just deal. I remember a lot of little things of that day such as the color of her top and who the bus driver was yet I wont bore you with those minor details. Anyway after Geo I went back to regular school and that was it.

I really don’t know what to say about Wednesday’s guys. They are just routine for me now / laundry, walk Mika, and do whatever else I must. Although I do on this day also sing and write down my own ideas for songs, stories and jokes. :0) I want to be an author or singer. I always have but the thing is I just don’t have the confidence yet on my writings. Maybe if a few of you who actually read this could give me some feed back on how I do. My dream would be to write a fantasy book or a Memoire.

I went to another theater with Holger, Wilma, and Thaalke. Let me just tell you that this one DID NOT HAVE NUDITY IN IT. I was so happy. Yet I had gotten exausted during the day so I ended up falling asleep during the play and on the way back home. Knowing I had to finish my report I had my mom talk to me while I typed – a 4 page report in pure German about god knows what I was bananas and strawberrying it like the entire time. Anyway I stayed up until 3 am doing it so I had mom call me before she went to bed to make sure I was up – 7 am train people…sucks everytime.

Turned in my report, then came home and slept all night. So peacefully too heheh

I had ohh so lovely “Deutsch Kurs” German class today bright and early for 3 hours in Bern. Now although I love Bern and I like learning new things I just never feel like I learn anything when this teacher teaches me. Im not quite sure why but it is what happens. I learn more with Swaana in one afternoon than I do the entire 3 hours. Not to mention I get so nervous all the time that he is going to kill me. -.- Yet don’t tell a soul, he may have connections in the mofia or something. Would hate to go swimming in the fishes if you catch my drift :-p

Woke up, caught the train, did a physics test, failed a physics test. Went to Geography, learned nothing, went to lunch had pasta, the food not the boy. Went then to World History learned nothing again and finally finished it with a whopping dose of Volleyball. Wow….he-he. Sorry but I was being a melodramatic on this Monday day. He-he.
