Ok ok...So many of you sent me DOZENS of messages or emails...Asking if I was ok or alive because I hadnt posted in a while...Well never fear Im alive and doing well :P just was at a camp for a week then between laundry, and school starting up on Monday couldnt write down anything until today. Why today you may ask? Well on Wednesdays I never have school and so I decided to write half today and half tomorrow - Thursday- because I procrastinated on homework and have a lot to do. So here it goes....my week at my CAMP XD
Ok well on Monday Morning I hopped on a train after saying goodbye to some friends online, making sure which train and bus to take as well as making sure I had everything...Ohhh did I mention I walked Mika, turned off all lights, lock the doors and closed all windows too before I left. :P hahah Well anyway...hopped on a train and sped off to Bern...where I was meeting my friend Dani at Migros - its like Switzerlands version of WAl Mart :P Anyway met up with her and then we went inside with all of our luggage - each of us carrying a carry on and a suitcase...we are girls we need options :P hahah, anyway we went inside and bought a cake and some snacks for the road. My cake looked delicious if I do say so myself...Chocolate and creamed rolled up with cherries.. XD....yuuuuuum ...anyway I hoped on the next train after meeting the rest of the gang and some new friends...Since we had luggage and cakes we were very cramped and when the guy came to check our tickets he could barely fit around our suitcases...in the process a girl screamed " SHIT I SAT ON MY CAKE...MY BUTT PRINTS ARE ON IT" I died laughing.
Anyway after about a 30 min ride we all unpacked our suitcases from the train - the ONLY MAN ON OUR TRAIN GUSTAVO doing most of the lifting ;)- and we met up with our organization people as well as the rest of the 80 exchange students in switzerland... :D
Packing it all into a bus we all played games, laughed and talked while we spent another 45 mins on the road heading for the draculas castle....I mean PAO - post arrival orientation- house XD.
Anyway we got there after a lame welcome - sorry but it was :P - and we unpacked and headed screaming and running but panting from carrying all of our stuff up the 3 flights of stairs to find the girls bedroom. Funny enough I get to a room we all like and it happens about 5 minutes later its the HISPANIC/ Latina Room :D Are we not the bomb or what...haha
After a hello meet and great and being seperated into groups - I was group 8- we ate dinner and headed for bed after playing some games...we were all tierd and we knew we would need our rest for the next morning was the girls day to shower first and we - the latinas- decided we didnt want to shower in front of every other girl in camp and after the floor was a mess.
So I was nominated to be the mommy and wake everyone up....funny enough I wasnt even the oldest..I was one of the babies -_- hahha anyway so that ends day one :p
Tuesday well we got up at 5.55 am like we had planned and raced -silently mind you- downstairs. We were the first ones so the bathroom was all clean and nice...the water was warm and being that Im the one whom woke all of them they said I could pick first... - yay me XD- anyway after showring we raced back upstairs and went back to bed haha. When we finally did get up we had a giant problem...NO ONE HAD BROUGHT A HAIR DRYER...we asked EVERY girls room and no one had brought one....our hair at this point was sticking everywhich way....we finally did track one down....you wont guess where though A BOY HAD BROUGHT IT TO THE CAMP FOR HIS HAIR.... ROTLF ... anyway after breakfast we divided into our groups and spent 4 hours talking about....actually I forgot...it all had to do with team buildings and how to deal with being in another country and stuff....funny thing is we kinda got side tracked a lot. MOM DAD DONT LOOK AT ME THAT WAY....I TRIED REALLY I DID...but you know me...

hahah anyway then we had lunch and then we had our first "workshops" we had to pick our top five out of a slightly long list...then they would chose the three we would do. Well naturally being that the chocolate facotory was on the list I put it as number one...yet I didnt get it - later found out Im glad i didnt because those who went said they gained about 5 kilos because of it XD haha- Anyway I had gotten my 2nd, 3rd and 4th choice. Castle, Bricelets and Koft...this day however was Bricelets with my great friend Priscilla :D So we headed for that...it turned out to be baking and rolling into thin rolls lemon tasting bread which we later dipped in chocolate ;). Well needless to say Priscilla and I arent the best backers in town and so we ended up "destroying " a lot of what we made so we haaaaaddddd to eat it XD....it was DELICIOUS...yes pancha I have the recipe so you can make it later ;). Anyway after that was dinner and they told us on Thursday we would be presenting our countries in some manner in the festival...so USA and MEXICO were paired up. Well quickly after dinner we went and met up with the other people and tried to think of something we could do that would encorporate both Mexico and Usa. One girl had the nerve to suggest that we mimic the tension between the illegals in USA from mexico...NO MOM AND NANA I DIDNT FIGHT HER... but I bloody wanted too.... -_- I simply told her being I was half and half it was kinda putting me in a difficult situation and would rather think of something else. So we left the meeting without any further ideas...We had planned a night of OLYMPICS where all groups would be competing against each other...So hurriedly I along with some of my friends went to our group number 8...our leaders - both hippies i think by how cool they were and dressed....anyway the Olympics consisted off potatto sack racing - WHICH I ALMOST FELL TO MY DEATH WHEN I DID IT -_- seriously...whomever invented it hates me...Im uncordinated without jumping and you add jumping . Hahah anways and the other things were like egg tossing, basketball - WHICH I WAS THE ONLY GIRL TO MAKE A HOOP THANK YOU VERY MUCH :p - , egg holding, clapping and trying to line up 1-7 in the dark...and....<.< cooking ...well more like cutting. I got stuck with the onions and did cry but I won the most points for my team :D So thanks be to me... XD -takes a bow - hahah jk but I really did participate in everyone of the contests just so I know I wouldnt let them down...anyway we came in last place but we had a hell of a lot of fun doing it. :D After dessert we went to bed quickly and fell asleep dreading how badly the bathroom would be after the boys showered first in the morning....
Wednesday...after sleeping a good long while we got up and went down to breakfast still in our jammies and sleep tousled hair. While the boys on the other hand looked like supermodels...the losers -_- Anyway after a quickie breakfast all the girls went running to the showers...luckily being we were hispanic we out bribed them all in getting through the counselors ;) hahahah jk but we really were the first ones again...Once I was clean and make up on I felt like 100 million dollars :D. We did the same thing....lessions and then lunch before heading to our "workshops". This time it was for the workshops I had KOFT...- you can see pictures on facebook- anyway it was of me kneading and baking bread from scratch then breaiding it before baking it. :D My friends Artemisa and Dani were in the workshop along with Betty and Priscilla...they all were slightly annoyed at me - but in a teasing manner- because I was kneading the bread and it was turning out GREAt...while theirs well.....went KAPLOP...I owe it to karate.....because I punched that sucker like no tomorrow. XD After this we had dinner and then got ready for our "night time hike"... WE hiked in the dark for 2 hours......we took a break halfway through to warm up with cider and all the while singing and telling ghostly stories...some girls screamed because a few men put branches over their heads....-_- wankers....whats it going to do? leaves you to death....? LOL play on words XD
Thursday was intersting... It RAINED ALL DAY...we were drenched but we had some fun after lunch and lessions...we had meant to go on another 4 HOUR HIKE - telling you they really want to whip us into shape -_- - but being that it rained they had us choose whatever we wanted to do as a subsitute activity...we ended up baking cookies - cinnamon and almond lemons XD- and then played cards until dinner :D... But before all of this in the morning we had met as a group - USA and Mexico- and decided on the Macarena...so that night we watched all of the countries preform skits or songs...and WE LOVED JAPAN they did claigraphy and my friends kanako and kai danced and sang in jappanesse XD awesome...they even taught a few of us - the friends- bad words ;) ... Anyway it was a great festival and the dessert was great...After the festival though we had been promised a party where we could stay up until 1 am...and drink if we desired it....So we - the girls- spent another hour getting ready before heading downstairs to dance salsa and put all others to shame :P hahah jk...JUST KIDDING but we really were the only ones dancing...-hispanics- for a while... :D I mainly danced with gustavo and artemisa but went to bed around 12.45 ...couldnt hold it any more not when we would be getting up again at 5.55 am ... --_--
Friday we woke up and did basically everything we had been doing other than say goodbye to an exchange student who had drunk 15-17 beers and had passed out. Being we were allowed to drink if we were RESPONSIBLE he was being sent home with a warning to his host parents...For my workshop we did the Castle of some G word in french...forget -_- and partied again but this time we could stay up as late as we wanted....i stayed up until 2 am and everyone else until 3 am...knowing we would need to get up at 7 am to pack and clean up the WHOLE cottage looking house...
Saturday we packed, said goodbyes, cleaned and headed home...where I CRASHED ...
Sunday I did homework and called my mom to tell her to pass on happy birthdays to my aunts...cleaned my room and did laundry...and...thats all XD
