GERMANY- Monday through Friday 2009

First of all let me tell you people that Im sorry for my short blog before I left. I was just trully wiped out... Now secondly Let me recount everything that has happened to me since Sunday Night

On Sunday I left to meet my host sister - since we would be getting up at 4 am we didnt truly want to have to drive too far or something and it was simpler staying in her apartment than in my host parents home. When I got there we settled in , watched NCIS - YES MOM I KNOW THEY ARE FANS OF ZIVA AND DENOZO TOO :O....hahah - So I spent the night at their home and that was pretty much it.

Monday: I had set my alarm to wake me up at 3 am. Well when it rang I thought I was dreaming and in the dream I dreamt whatever was making all that raquet was going to suffer dearly. WEll needless to say I overslept just a tiny bit....miniscule really.....petit.....not even worth mentioning -coughs - 30 mins.....and so because of that I hurriedly did everything so fast - including brushing my teeth and hair- I actually got toothpaste on my shirt and on my hair before I was done. Yet I was ready on time on the dot at 4 am to leave. :D WHOOOHOOO ME XD So Thaalke and I hit the road - ON THE ROAD AGAIN.... I JUST CANT HELP TO BE ON THE ROAD AGAIN... XD Yes I really did hear that song in my head for a while on the drive. haha. :) So being that it was early though and being that Im not a morning person I set myself to talk to Thaalke non-stop hoping that I wouldnt fall asleep on her - since sometimes I do say weird things when I sleep...AS does my baby sis Pancharita :P - . Yet I failed misreably for once we got into Austria I fell asleep for about an hour. I woke up around 6 am...I felt droggy and she laughed saying it was ok that I had fallen asleep. Not 5 minutes later we came upon a tunnel....Now most of you are thinking - Hec a tunnel that dosen't seem so interesting- Yet let me tell you this tunnel was 7 KM LONG...I felt while we were driving inside of it that I was descending into hell and looked around expecting to see little vendors saying "You want to buy a purse....40 dollars...40 dollars its Channel its Channel". Yet sadly no vendors were in this dark tunnel and when we got out no flames were there to great us. Just some more black roads...haha. Well we drove until about 9 am and by then we had reached the famous castle. It was a semi cold morning and so we payed for the tickets and went to eat breakfast in a warm restaurant. We waited until 10 am which is when our tour would begin in the castle. Having heard we needed a good 30 minutes to climb up to the castle we set out in the appropriate time. BOY WERE THEY WRONG...EAsy climb my pretty hinei.....3 miles uphill most of it and we did it in under 20 mins. While I was walking I mentaly was screaming "JUST SEND ME A BLOODIE POST CARD I DONT CARE HOW PRETTY IT IS" ....Yet at the top we went sweating and breathing hard but amazed on how spectacular it was indeed.
We took the guided tour -which personally I wasnt much impressed with- for we only saw 5 rooms...One including his bedroom that his bedset had little churches carved into the wood...the tour guide said it took them 500 hours to do it. I mentaly was saying "500 hours....What would I have done with 500 free hours....Well I know one thing not bloody well carving a silly bed post with churches." XD he could have gone into a real church if he wanted to be close to God and the Jesus.... I mean DAMN. Yet anyway we left there and went to drive around the city looking at all the different places and pubs. Finally around 2 pm in the afternoon we checked into our hotel. Both of us were tierd and we didnt feel like doing much so we had a quick lunch before going over to the monestary across the street. After taking some souvenirs and half a dozen pictures we walked back to our hotel and decided why not to go to the sauna and pool before relaxing into a nice comfy bed....a bed made out of clouds...XD...So thats what we did....went to the sauna, wetroom, pool, and heating room with heated rocks that felt like heaven. Seriously someone wants to gift me an early birthday present build me some rocks that get warm when you make it so XD. It was like sitting on a warm - but not overly warm- oven....mmmmm haha. Anyway both of us were tierd so we crashed early instead watching some TV before hitting the DO NOT BOTHER ME IM ASLEEP button of ours. :D

Tuesday: Tuesday We woke up early ate a speedy breakfast before packing up everything and scaddadeling out of there. We went and to see a few churches and a few Chapels - a GREAT deal smaller-. Yet I think its interesting on two facts on this day....ONE If a sign says NO PICTURES inside a church...I think its funny how all ethnic groups ignore the sign and take pictures anyway. Im serious...AS well as two...EVERYWHERE WE GO THEIR ARE ASIANS NEAR US...I think its a conspiracy...I think it must be the same asians I have seen on every other trip...They must have a microphone and when I plan to go somewhere they all decided to go too. Im serious...ho do you know if the Asian taking pictures next to you wasnt the same Asian next to you in London or in Pasadino....Creepy feeling ;). hahah But seriously...I should probbably start calling the asians my uncles for I see them more than some of my real life family. "COMING UNCLE YING-KA" hahah :) They were nice those I bumped into... :D WE later that day went to go walk around this historic living museum. Again another 3 hours walking up and down hills -_- You would think after all of this I would be bionic woman...but Im not...YET ;). Anyway it was nice and fun and I bought a few things again but to tell you the truth I didnt see a big difference between this and Williamsburg....^-^yet maybe its just me. XD. Afterwards we went shopping , looking for some decent sales...Thaalke bought a new purse and I bought a skirt :D. Afterwards we freshened up - NO DAD NOT WITH FEBRESE - :P and went downstairs to meet my host parents and Swaana whom were driving up to eat dinner with us. We drank some and had a jolly good time...The food wasnt half bad either...I have learned I like rolled up potato bread...no not breaded potato...POTATO BREAD. I know I thought it was weird too but its actually quite tasty. :D After my half liter of beer Thaalke and I had two shots of BEER LIQUOR....Now I know Im not an expert in drinking anything but...

BEER LIQUOR? I thought Beer was Liquor....anyway they served it to us with whipped cream on top - yes...i ate the whipped cream first XD- and then drank it down in one gulp. It was scaldingly decent....Not my favorite drink but good nevertheless.....

Wednesday: On Wednesday Thaalke and I went to the Octoberfest....Yes those of you shocked...I Kimberly Nicole M. went to the Octoberfest...The biggest drinking festival of them all. Over 2 million people were there this day. So we decided to go back later. So first we went sight seeing in a few more churches, some stores, and the Rathous...their government building almost. :) Anyway Then we went to Octoberfest....Im not sure what I had originally expected but this wasnt it. I had thought "hmmmmm....Tents and beer....maybe dancing"...Was I sorely mistaken. It was like a giant theme park with roller coasters, vendors and of course the long lines to the ladies room. Which for some reason I never understand -_-... WE went inside a tent after having rode a few rides and me almost having a heart attack for I rode a rollercoaster. Anyone whom knows me , knows I dont care for Roller Coasters...So anyway we chose a table and sat down. The lady came and brought us two big cups filled with sparkling clear bear. How big were these cups? ONE LITER...thats around - so a few people beside us said whom had clearly had more than one- its about 5 cans. Buying myself a pretzel I sat, ate, and drank with Thaalke before laughing my heart out at having a drunk English speaker - Probably American from the accent- stand up on the podium and start shaking his booty and wanting to conduct the music. When he started shouting " I LOVE YOU MY PEOPLE" I knew he was so far gone if he fell down and busted his knee open he wouldnt probbably feel it at all. After the liter of beer though I myself didnt feel it....I didnt like the feeling at all but I could tell I was slightly over the limit and through the woods to granny's house we go in my mind. So Thaalke and I left early to go straight to the hotel , eat something and go to bed. That night I had a strange dream though....about dancing bears and things....I must tell you and warn those of you whom dont drink....DONT DRINK THEN THINK YOU WILL HAVE NORMAL DREAMS..... -_-

Thursday: Was our last day of this vacation so Thaalke took me to a Wellness pool. Bringing along my bathing suit I didnt think it would be that bad ....Boy was I in for a rude awakening...Everything was peachy keen up until Thaalke wanted to go to the sauna and wetroom in another part of this facility. I said I would go along and as soon as I entered I saw ....naked men and woman...If not for the love of Thaalke speaking to me forcing my head to pay attention I may have passed out cold right there and then. Needless to say although people would have expected me to be nude such as they were walking around like no big deal I didnt follow along with it. I kept a towel on me the ENTIRE time...even in the shower. I felt like a mortal whom couldnt look at the greek gods or goddesses , my eyes riveted to the floor to avoid seeing something I didnt need or want to see. Such as finding out an old man has a tattoo of a flower on his cabooty...-_- Do I need to go on?

Afterwards Thaalke went to cut her hair and I stayed sitting on the floor watching movies on my Ipod- wonderful invention and thanks mom and dad again for it :D - I watched for about 2 hours. :) Then we packed up our things and went home hitting the hay early for we knew we would have to have a long drive in the morning.

Friday: We drove home and I took the train to my city after she dropped me off at the station...nothing truly exciting :P
